Hi everyone. I'm very excited to announce 2 performances early next year that I will be directing that celebrate the legacy of two giants - Nina Simone and James Baldwin. These shows are part of 'Southbank Centre x Montreux Jazz Festival Residency'.
I will be working with Nu Civilisation Orchestra playing the music of Nina Simone with some incredible guest artists at the Royal Festival Hall. I also have new collaboration with National Youth Jazz Orchestra that uses James Baldwin's life and writings as inspiration for a very unique musical performance.
