I'm very excited to announce that my trio will be doing a show at Jazz Refreshed Night
on Thursday 15 August at Mau Mau. The 'Psychedelic Soul Sessions' is a new direction for the band in which we embrace the influence of Miles Davis' 70's electric and the music of Herbie Hancock's Headhunters . The new sound palette blends driving jazz funk grooves with afro beat, lush string pads and soulful melodic improvised explorations.
