Nu Civilisation Orchestra joins forces with BBC Concert Orchestra

NCO and BBCCO team up to play 'Symphonic Ellington' Series Fresh from our debut at the BBC Proms, the Nu Civilisation Orchestra will be playing more of Duke Ellington's extended works at the London Jazz Festival 2019. The Nu Civilisation Orchestra have been invited to join the BBC Concert Orchestra at the Queen Elizabeth Hall to perform works from our 'Symphonic Ellington' Series. I will be featured on piano for 'New World a Comin' and will be  directing my arrangement of Billy Strayhorn's Chelsea Bridge. Psychedelic Soul Sessions at London Jazz Festival 16 November 2019

After a fantastic show for Jazz Re:freshed earlier this year my trio will be bringing the psychedelic soul sessions to East London's Poplar Union for London Jazz Festival. Our new direction is heavily influenced by Miles Davis' 1970s electric period and jazz funk synth stylings of Herbie Hancock with a healthy dose of afro beat, lush string pads and soulful melodic improvised explorations.
